Response form for:
MA and MEd Social & Comparative Analysis in Education (SCAE) Virtual Information Session
The Social and Comparative Analysis in Education (SCAE) program applies disciplinary perspectives from the social sciences to the study of educational problems and solutions. We look at education holistically, including formal and non-formal settings across the lifespan, and have a special emphasis on comparative, international, and development education.
Fundamental questions asked in our programs include:
- How do social relationships within and beyond the school affect instruction and learning?
- How do markets and incentives affect educational organizations and actors?
- How does culture and the intergenerational transmission of culture affect educational processes and outcomes?
The Office of Admissions & Enrollment Services (AES) and the SCAE faculty would like to invite you to our Virtual Information Session! The Virtual Information Session will provide students and practitioners the opportunity to speak with Dr. Maureen Porter and learn more about the porgram, curriculum, field experience, and any other questions you may have.
The Virtual Information Session will be hosted on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. est. via Skype; please be sure to RVSP below to recieve the conference link.
