Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (in the tenure-stream) with a focus in Decoloniality and Equity Studies in Teacher Education

We seek a faculty colleague whose primary focus will be in decoloniality and equity in relation to history/social studies. With an active research agenda and a commitment to justice, civic engagement, and teacher education, this person would contribute to the preparation of students in our MAT social studies, MEd, and doctoral programs. This person would also contribute to programmatic design and research direction in teacher education, decoloniality, social studies, and/or curriculum theory, and would strengthen our commitment to teaching, research, and engagement initiatives that center historical and contemporary perspectives of culturally, racially, and linguistically marginalized peoples and environments. We seek candidates with strong theoretical and methodological credentials (expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods), a growing or an established record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, and the potential to compete successfully for external funding.
