Emphasis is placed in increasing interpersonal skills and developing technical skills in observing, planning and evaluating instruction. The course is designed to provide prospective special education supervisors with an overview of the development and content of mandated special education plans for school districts and intermediate units and to link those plans to the development of a comprehensive special education budget.
