A variety of instructional approaches will be introduced, with particular emphasis on teaching mathematics through problem solving and active learning experiences. Contents will include the selection and preparation of appropriate instructional materials for effectively facilitating the learning of mathematical content and process skills, and for integrating this learning with other areas of the elementary school curriculum.
