Topics include functional capacity assessment (central and peripheral adaptations, graded exercise testing, electrocardiography), exercise prescription (dosage, format, energy cost, case studies), exercise supervision (phase 1, 2 and 3, practical leadership experiences, emergency procedures, nutritional counseling, psychological considerations) and factors that influence the exercise responses are presented.
