Topics include validity, reliability, item selection, and referencing (both norm and criterion); interpreting factor analysis of test scores; using tests in decisions; social and ethical issues in testing; theories of intelligence and their relation to intelligence testing; and tests of personality. Students participate in a laboratory section where they analyze data and evaluate tests.
