In this course we will consider how policy and leadership influence STEM education. Through this process, we will explore the regulatory and governing landscapes of STEM, and ask critical questions about the motivations and imaginations that shape these systems, from national policy agendas to classroom assessment criteria. Our inquiry will focus on grappling with our role as educators, and leaders in the STEM field, in order to develop a richer understanding of our agency and responsibility in determining the blueprint for STEM futures.
