In this course we will wrestle with our approaches to and understanding of instruction and learning in STEM education. We will develop an aptitude for designing STEM pedagogy in connection with learning theories. Through this examination we will also grapple with how concepts from each disciplinary element of STEM (i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) are connected through interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary pedagogy. Finally, we will explore different knowledge traditions that can contribute to rich, critical and relational STEM educational discourse.
