This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing community college stakeholders, inclusive of faculty, students, staff, administrators, community members, and constituents, and how researchers work to tell these individuals' stories and opportunities. Along the way, students will connect with leading community college scholars and centers that address contemporary challenges, as well as engage with foundational and novel scholarship. Ultimately, students will develop the necessary skills to conduct meaningful and thoughtfully designed studies on these postsecondary education institutions.
