Workshop Description:
In this PDF Accessibility workshop, we will explore the many aspects of PDF use and accessibility in higher education. You will learn how PDFs can create barriers to accessibility and discover practical strategies to overcome these challenges.You will have opportunities to ask and discuss your questions in this workshop.
Workshop Objectives:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Determine when PDF use is appropriate and necessary
- Identify alternative formats to a PDF
- Save an accessible PDF from an accessible source document
- Check basic PDF accessibility

Important Note: It is highly recommended that participants first attend a Word and PowerPoint Accessibility workshop session before attending this PDF Accessibility training session.
