This course prepares reading specialist candidates to assess, diagnose, and intervene in adolescent literacy development across disciplines. Emphasis is placed on the use of formal and informal assessments, development of comprehensive literacy profiles, and the design of data-driven, targeted literacy plans for adolescent learners.
